Lotem Raymond Coe, LMHCA, ATR-P
Art therapist and counselor
I have a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Art Therapy and a certificate of Trauma Counseling from Antioch University Seattle. I completed my internship at Shelterwood Collective, where I worked with clients on various issues ranging from complex trauma to life transitions, including neurodiversity, interpersonal relationship matters, and DSM diagnoses.
Becoming an art therapist and a counselor has been a long-time passion of mine and I feel privileged to be in this profession. I value where my clients come from and the strategies they have used to protect themselves (conscious or unconscious) and I emphasize those in therapy. I hold hope, compassion, curiosity, and esteem for my clients, even when they are not able to hold those for themselves.
Outside of being an art therapist and a counselor, I am also a mother, an artist, and an avid learner. I am a person of color (POC) and have experience with immigration, the military, and education. My pastime often involves spending time with my family, philosophical conversations, singing to my favorite songs (though by no means am I a singer), trying fun new vegetarian recipes, and going on spontaneous explorations outdoors (but I would consider myself a homebody).
If you would like to meet me and discuss the option of starting therapy, please fill in the form in the “Contact” page. To learn more about my therapeutic approach, go to the “Therapy” page above. I look forward to connecting with you!
